Tooney’s Last Resort is an animal sanctuary located on the premises of Beach Animal Hospital that has been providing food, shelter and medical care to dogs and cats since 1995.  Since its inception, Tooney’s Last Resort (originally called ‘The Last Resort’) has taken in several hundred animals.  Many of these have found permanent, loving homes while some have remained long term residents of the shelter.  Our goal is to provide a safe haven for as little or as long as necessary to the animals that enter into our care.
